About me

I'm Dr Bobbie Scott, a clinical psychologist offering private therapy for adults in Tunbridge Wells and online.

I completed my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy), a three-year NHS training programme that includes supervised clinical placements across a range of services. During my training I worked using cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and third wave therapies, mainly acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and compassion focused therapy (CFT). Alongside the doctorate I completed a foundation level qualification in systemic practice, and I have also drawn on narrative ideas, including the Tree of Life.

CHECK: two or three sentences in Bobbie's own words about why she does this work, the people she most enjoys working with, and what therapy with her feels like.

Registration and standards

I'm registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a practitioner psychologist, registration number PYL-CHECK. "Clinical psychologist" is a protected title in the UK, which means only people on the HCPC register can use it. You can check the register yourself.

I have regular clinical supervision, hold professional indemnity insurance, and follow the HCPC's standards of conduct, performance and ethics.
